I'm looking around me and I get sad. Nobody wants to change the world. Everybody wants to be famous, to get rich, to be funny and wild.
Everybody wants to have a beautiful life of his own and that's ok with me. I understand the fact that everybody has his own dreams and goals and we have to struggle to achieve them.
I know we all have obstacles in our way and battles to fight, I know that our personal future is important, I know we all think we're alone in this world. Let me remind you something, we're all living in the same world.
I know I'm right and you agree with me, but if you'll look farther you'll see that we're all the same. We all eat, study, work, sleep, dream, love and play.
We are all special, every one of us, with no exceptions. My big questions is "why aren't we acting like a team ?".
As far as I know, humans are the most intelligent beings on this planet because of their highly evolved brain, right ? Right. Then why are we allowing bad things to happen around us ? Why don't you stand up for truth and justice ? How long do you think your freedom would last if you don't raise your fist in the air and scream "I will not allow this to happen on my watch !".
We live in a world where freedom isn't free, you have to fight for it and not only when your personal freedom is in danger. You know ... we are not going to live forever. Let's try to change some things so we may have a good life and not be disappointed when we are looking in the mirror.
Change the world and don't let others tell you that you can't !

You are correct but don't forget, humans are also the most vicious species. have you ever seen animals attack each other for no good reason? no. Animals only do things cause they NEED to whereas we kill our own kind or at least other species for pleasure!
as far as I know having a highly evolved brain doesn't mean humans are the species to look up to. Ironically in this case, we have to learn from animals. They have co-existed with each other for billions of years while we humans in 300 years( after the industrial revolution) have been able to literally KILL most of our planet all by ourselves.
unfortunately teaming up isn't the answer. each of us, as an individual, must start with himself/herself. pay attention to the small things that we do that is harmful to others, bitterness, etc.
probably teaming up to say that to the world is a better Idea. ;)
Hello Arian ! Thank you for your comment, I agree.
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking on making an article based on your idea.
great to hear that! looking forward to reading it.
