Last beautiful free soul

Peace it's a topic on which ignorance too often abounds and the truth is too rarely perceived. I speak of peace because the pursuit of peace is not as dramatic as the pursuit of war. In order to have peace and joy in our hearts we have to look deep into our souls and understand our place in the world.

Let's direct attention to our common interests and to the means by which the differences between us can be resolved. I want to wake up in a world where no one is killing the children anymore, in a world where everybody smiles in the same language, in a world where words like "hate" and "oppression" are long forgotten, in a world that doesn't look so much like Hell itself. Do I ask to much ? Until then ... I guess we're all zombies.

"And there goes the Challenger, being chased by the blue, blue meanies on wheels. The vicious traffic squad cars are after our lone driver, the last American hero, the electric centaur, the, the demi-god, the super driver of the golden west! Two nasty Nazi cars are close behind the beautiful lone driver. The police numbers are gettin' closer, closer, closer to our soul hero, in his soul mobile, yeah baby! They about to strike. They gonna get him. Smash him. Rape ... the last beautiful free soul on this planet" (from the movie "Vanishing Point")

9/11 Photo - The Falling Man

I'm looking at the picture and I imagine that man screaming FREEDOM almost in a rebellious way before jumping into the unknown.

I don't know if he's scared, maybe he is ... but he doesn't want to show a shadow of fear, not even to Death itself.

He's falling so fast, is perfectly vertical, going straight to the ground. Only a couple of seconds and everything will end. Outside is a beautiful day and his falling feels like flying. Maybe he thinks this is a good day to die.

Just like a soldier cornered by the enemy ... to proud to let himself killed by them. They will never catch him alive. He will not give them that satisfaction. It's not suicide, it's COURAGE. He didn't lost the battle, he won.

Something died inside all the good people at the same time as this powerful man lost his life. I'm not an American, but I would be proud if I were one. Please, change the world, make it a better place !

I Have a Rendezvous with Death ( a poem by Alan Seeger )

I have a rendezvous with Death
At some disputed barricade,
When Spring comes back with rustling shade
And apple-blossoms fill the air
I have a rendezvous with Death
When Spring brings back blue days and fair.

It may be he shall take my hand
And lead me into his dark land
And close my eyes and quench my breath
It may be I shall pass him still.
I have a rendezvous with Death
On some scarred slope of battered hill,
When Spring comes round again this year
And the first meadow-flowers appear.

God knows 'twere better to be deep
Pillowed in silk and scented down,
Where Love throbs out in blissful sleep,
Pulse nigh to pulse, and breath to breath,
Where hushed awakenings are dear...
But I've a rendezvous with Death
At midnight in some flaming town,
When Spring trips north again this year,
And I to my pledged word am true,
I shall not fail that rendezvous.

Martin Luther King, Jr.

Martin Luther King, Jr. was born in 1929. He gave to the world the famous "I Have a Dream" speech. A motivational speech about freedom, equality, justice, righteousness and truth. He offered people a vision of hope. He fought in a non-violent way to stop the segregation of colored and white people.

He believed in God with all his strength and he believed until his last moment of life that nobody can break the human spirit. On 1968 King was assassinate. This civil rights activist is a symbol in the history of the world. Martin Luther King is a hero. Small Brain Big Heart is proud to offer Mr. King the Golden Heart Award. Thank you for defending our freedom, sir !

"... And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: Free at last ! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last !" (the last part from the "I Have a Dream" speech).

Nobody wants to change the world

I'm looking around me and I get sad. Nobody wants to change the world. Everybody wants to be famous, to get rich, to be funny and wild.

Everybody wants to have a beautiful life of his own and that's ok with me. I understand the fact that everybody has his own dreams and goals and we have to struggle to achieve them.

I know we all have obstacles in our way and battles to fight, I know that our personal future is important, I know we all think we're alone in this world. Let me remind you something, we're all living in the same world.

I know I'm right and you agree with me, but if you'll look farther you'll see that we're all the same. We all eat, study, work, sleep, dream, love and play.

We are all special, every one of us, with no exceptions. My big questions is "why aren't we acting like a team ?".

As far as I know, humans are the most intelligent beings on this planet because of their highly evolved brain, right ? Right. Then why are we allowing bad things to happen around us ? Why don't you stand up for truth and justice ? How long do you think your freedom would last if you don't raise your fist in the air and scream "I will not allow this to happen on my watch !".

We live in a world where freedom isn't free, you have to fight for it and not only when your personal freedom is in danger. You know ... we are not going to live forever. Let's try to change some things so we may have a good life and not be disappointed when we are looking in the mirror.

Change the world and don't let others tell you that you can't !

My top 10 songs that changed the world

This are my favorite songs, each one with a special message inside. You probably know them, but did you ever thought how important are for the world ? Together we can change the world

You may heard this expression "you can change the world" for so many times that you almost find it funny by now. You can't change the world and that's how things are, right ? WRONG. Even if you feel small and powerless, even if you lost your faith and dreams along the way, you still have something inside you that no one can take.

That thing is your heart. People tend to forget that we are all the same, we have the same needs, the same questions, the same desires, the same regrets. And still, we are acting like we live alone on this tiny blue planet.

When something bad or wrong happens to somebody else (an individual or a group), what are we doing ? Nothing, we just keep walking. Some of us may even say that's how life is. Some feel happy because that bad thing didn't happen to them. But when something bad or wrong is happening to YOU, would you liked to be helped ? Of course you do.

You probably ask yourself by now, how can you, an obscure person can change the world ? You're not famous, you're not rich, you don't even have enough time available to start making a project about something. If you think like that, you are looking at this problem from a wrong angle. You can do a lot of things to stop poverty, discrimination, rapes, animal slaughter etc.

If you're a poet, write a poetry about what you want to change, if you're a painter draw a painting about the things you don't want to see or hear, if you're working in front of a computer, put a wallpaper on your desktop with a big red STOP THIS sign (referring to whatever you want to put an end), wear a t-shirt with a message on it, make a mug with a picture that draws attention, put at the end of your emails a short sentence as a signature, talk wuth your friends about things that shouldn't suppose to happen, etc.

Please help me to change the world ! When our time on this world will end, we'll look back at our past and we'll ask ourselves what have we done all this time. Where have we been ? Why did we allowed that to happened ? But then it will be to late.

"All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing" Edmund Burke

Why should I donate ?

First of all, the donation button doesn't mean begging. As you may see, my blog is about changing the world. Many bad things are happening out there and only a few people are trying to do something to change them. That small number of humans struggles to put an end to starvation, discrimination, to bring peace and freedom in the places where this things were lost, deserve respect at the highest level.

One of these people was Michael Jackson. Although he is my favorite singer, the most important is what he represented. In a single word, he represented the humanity. He loved people and tried to help through his music and charity. He truly changed the world. He made his part of contribution to society.

I want to raise money to make a special place with his name at the entrance, with his music inside, with his messages in everybody's hearts. We'll never forget about who Michael Jackson was, but we may forget what he represented. Help me to change the world having this great man as an example.

Anyone can make a site or a blog about this, but why don't we try to fight in other areas too ? If God and people like you will help me make this place, I would continue helping others by raising money for food and clothing, even water for some, through all kind of events with Michael Jackson's name in front.

I don't want this money for me, I have what to eat and where to sleep. But I can't afford to create this by myself. I need you to help me. Help me to help others.

You may donate starting from 0.1 $ if you are inclined. It's not impossible to make a dream come true. This dream is our dream, not mine. If you do not wish to make a donation because you don't trust, you don't have faith or you are simply not in the mood to do so, then I will respect your decision. THIS IS NOT BEGGING !

"Change the world, make it a better place, for you and for me and for the entire human race !" Michael Jackson ( 1958 - 2009 )
